A total of 444 companies participated in the 33rd IIFF exhibition in 2017, an increase of 15.3% over 2015, with a total exhibition area of 20,000 square meters. Among them, 144 companies came from 23 overseas countries and regions, an increase of 50%. China, Brazil, France, Germany, and Italy are exhibited in the form of national pavilions. Other participating countries and regions include Australia, Bangladesh, Iran, Lithuania, Mexico, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Sri Lanka, and Sweden. Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, the Netherlands, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom. A total of 11,455 professionals from 49 countries and regions were attracted to visit and negotiate business. The number of visitors has increased by 14.91% compared to 2015. The international audience reached 375 people.
Starting from 2016, the leather shoe material exhibition was held at the same time as the finished shoe exhibition was held in the same place. The name of the exhibition was updated to the International Shoes Exhibition in New Delhi, India. The exhibition covered more extensive content and attracted more professional exhibitors to visit.
According to reports: the old-fashioned developed countries and regional consumer markets have become saturated and stable after years of development market demand, and the subsequent development potential is not enough. Asian and Central American countries such as India, China, Indonesia, Brazil and other countries have a large population and good economic development, and become the most potential consumer market in the future footwear market.
